Governor Bullock Orders Mandatory Masks Statewide

Governor Bullock announced on Tuesday May 19th at 3 pm that he will move Montana to Phase 2 of our Reopening beginning on June 1, 2020.  The biggest change in Phase 2 is eliminating the 14 day quarantine for out of state travel and gatherings where social distancing can not be followed will increase to 50 people.  It also allows 75% capacity to restaurants, bars, casinos, child care facilities, gyms & pools if they can maintain the social distancing & sanitation rules.  Bowling alleys and con... read more
Yellowstone National Park announced today a 3 phased opening beginning on May 18th.  On May 18th at 12 pm, the Park will open the East entrance and the South entrance ONLY and access to the southern loop of the Grand Loop road.  You can only exit the park through these same two entrances.This opening will include access to restrooms, self service gas stations, trails and boardwalks.  What will NOT be open is: The Montana entrances (North, West, and Northeast) will remain closed. Bozeman Schools Will Not Reopen This Spring

During a Bozeman School Board meeting Monday night April 27th, the board of trustees voted unanimously to not reopen schools this spring and continue with remote learning.  Montana Governor Steve Bullock's order allows schools to reopen after May 7th but gave school reopening authority to each school district.  The Bozeman School Board did not discuss High School graduation but Superintendent Bob Connors said there will be a graduation ceremony but it may not look like past graduations.  The Butte Sc... read more
