Montana State University Has 5th Highest Fall Enrollment

The fall enrollment for Montana State University is the 5th highest in history.  There were 16,249 students enrolled this fall.  A dip of 3% over the 2019 fall enrollment but MSU considers that a win with the current COVID-19 situation and having a blend of in-person and virtual online classes this year.  Their retention rate (students that return for a 2nd year) hit a 30 year high of 78% and the 4 year graduation rate climbed 5% to 34.7%.  This fall is also different by not having football.&nbs... read more

Bozeman School Board Sets Target Dates For 5 Day In-Person Classes

The Bozeman School Board meet through a Zoom meeting for 7 hours Monday night to discuss the possibility of switching from it's current blended model of learning (2 days in-person and 3 days remote) to the cohort model of 5 days of in-person learning.  They set target dates for different grades if certain metrics were met regarding COVID-19.  Pre kindergarten to 5th grade's date is Nov 5th, middle school on Nov 23rd and high school on Jan 25th.  Another board vote will be required to switch from the ... read more
