30 Year Fixed Rate Mortgages Still Historically Low

Even though we have seen 30 year fixed rate mortgages climb a little higher each quarter in 2018, the rates are still at historic lows when you look at rates over the last 46 years.   Even at a 5% 30 year fixed rate mortgage, this still gives buyers more buying power than the 36 year period from 1972 to 2008.  Thanks to Brett Evertz from Opportunity Bank for this chart.

Bozeman Airport Sets September Boarding Record

The Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport broke more records in September 2018.  Nearly 120,000 passengers traveled through the airport.  This number was up 8.6% from last year.  Year to date Bozeman is up 10.5%.  Airport Director Brian Sprenger says not only have they set several commercial airline records but also from general aviation.  "In the last 12 months, we have seen a record number of tower operations.  That's the first time we've had a record in that particular category ... read more
