Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport set a passenger record for 2018 for the ninth consecutive year. The airport handled 1,340,857 passengers last year, an 11.8% increase from the year before. The passenger count has almost doubled in the past 10 years and now accounts for 30% of all passenger traffic coming in and out of Montana. In 2018 the airport reconstructed its runway, began construction on a new parking garage and a four-gate terminal expansion.
